I wish I knew about TV Armor before my TV mishap. I highly recommend it to anybody with children. The protector fit my Panasonic like a glove and you really have to look at it closely to see that it is on there. In my opinion it is well worth the price for the protection.

Glare on a TV screen protector can be a minor issue if you have a lot of uncontrolled light in a room (Very large windows without shades). You should be able to buy a TV screen protector made from anti-glare plastic to fix that right? Well, you can (from other companies) but we won't sell them.
We have tested every type of antiglare plastic on the market today (even space age Nasa ones) and found they all come up short. You see, Antiglare plastic isn't 100% clear. It has a matte (rough) surface and that rough surface which looks frosted, distorts the High Definition picture by making it look Fuzzy or slightly out of focus. It also reduces the viewing angles (down to 45°) and the contrast of the TV. We won't sell a product that doesn't meet our high standards for optical quality.
Sure they do, but at the cost of your High Definition picture. This is because all TV screen protectors being sold today are held off the surface of the TV screen by spacers (felt or rubber). This is so the screen protector can flex and absorb impacts without hitting the TV screen. This small distance between the antiglare plastic and the TV picture is enough to cause the light to diffuse or disperse making what is normally an extremely sharp picture look fuzzy.

While glare can be a minor annoyance it is usually only present in black areas of the TV picture, like when you have the black bars on the left and right sides of the TV image (when watching non HD TV shows). It's also easy to prevent by placing your lights correctly and not shining them directly on the TV. Here at TV Armor, we only use the highest quality optical grade plastics to ensure you maintain that great High Definition picture. We won't sell a product we wouldn't put on our own TV's.
